Yay, an update!

Yes, I know… I am a horrible blogger, but I guess sometimes I feel I just have nothing to say!  Those that know me are probably not surprised at that as I tend to keep things kinda quiet.  I am going to try to remedy that, starting with work on a Play by Blog site for a home campaign that I want to run.  It is going to be called The Fires of Karskadden (I Think), and will take place in a fantasy world in ruins in the aftermath of an unholy war.  I am thinking post-apocalyptic horror-fantasy if all goes well.

The residents of an isolated rural area discover superhuman and supernatural power in their midst. But the power stops at the county line. Inside the afflicted area, something ancient and malevolent stirs and new monsters arise… The series concentrates on young Wyatt, an unlikely hero from the wrong side of the tracks as well as Sheriff Morgan (and his odd past) and town outcast Amanda. They’ll have to combine their efforts to keep the county from imploding…or being eaten by mighty Cthulhu.

A fantastically fun horror comic that begs for sequels!  I am not good with reviews, but I know what is good and this is one of the best horror stories to come along in a long time.

Scares That Care! Teams up with Horror Icon Kane Hodder!

“Scares That Care!” is teaming up with the one and only Kane Hodder! “Scares That Care!” will be partnering with Kane and the release of his new book biography, “Kill! The True Story of the World’s Most Prolific, Cinematic Killer,” available October 1st 2011 – “Scares That Care!” will be represented in the book, and a portion of the proceeds from the special edition will come to us to give to aid those suffering from burn injuries. We look forward to working with Kane, and bringing some relief to a child or family who needs it.
